Safety instructions and user manuals for MOON pushchairs and buggies

Safety is not an add-on – it is part of every decision at MOON. Our prams and buggies are developed with the aim of reliably accompanying you in everyday life: sturdily constructed, high-quality workmanship and tailored to the requirements of modern mobility.

To ensure that you can use your product correctly and safely at all times, we have compiled all relevant safety instructions, care information and operating instructions for you here in a clear and concise manner. They apply to our current models and help you to maintain their function and safety in the long term.

Please take a moment to read the instructions carefully. For safe use, long-term quality – and peace of mind every time you go out with your child.

General information:

Carrycot: Up to a maximum weight of 9 kg.
Sports seat: Up to a maximum weight of 22 kg.
Never leave your child unattended in the pushchair.
Before use, make sure that all locks are engaged.
To avoid injury, ensure that your child is out of reach when opening or folding the pushchair.
Do not leave your child unattended while playing with the stroller.
The stroller is not suitable for jogging or skating.

Brakes & stability:

Always apply the brakes when placing your child in or removing them from the stroller.
Any load on the push handle, the back or the sides of the stroller affects its stability and handling.

Child safety:

Use a safety belt as soon as the child can sit independently.
Always use the restraint system/belt system.
Do not use an additional mattress in the pram.
Before transport, ensure that there are no loose objects in the pram that could be swallowed.
Do not allow other children to play unsupervised near the stroller.

Visibility in traffic:

Reflective stickers for additional visibility at dusk are included with the following models: GIO Fold, RESEA Fold, GIO 2.0, CIAO, RESEA 2.0, AURA, HYPE.
The stickers increase visibility but do not replace constant supervision.

Accessories & modifications:

Only use accessories approved by MOON.
Do not modify the stroller except in the manner specified by the manufacturer.

Transport & storage:

Do not use the carrycot or sports seat on the front passenger seat of a car (not a child car seat).
Only fold the stroller on a stable, level surface.
Do not store near fire or hot surfaces.
